SUMMARY:An afternoon at the races - Fundraiser at Galbraith Hall
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a family friendly race afternoon\nFollowing two very successful Afternoons at the Races\, we are pleased to invite you to another Family-friendly Race Afternoon on Saturday 14th June at Galbraith Hall\, Allenby Road. If you have attended Race Nights in the past – this is an event with a difference with an opportunity for all ages to take part. Please arrive from 2.00 pm\, with the first race at 2.30 pm. \nThe horses are moved along a track on the floor\, determined by the roll of a dice which everyone can join in. There will be five races and you can become an “owner” of a horse in four of the races for just £1 (with a chance to win a prize if your horse finishes first). \nJust 20p allows you the chance to back a horse in a race\, with a chance to win a small cash prize. \nThere is a nominal entrance fee of £1.00 per person (payable on the door)\, but please also bring some money to spend on the races and on the raffle. \nWe regret that we will not be able to supervise unaccompanied children. However we hope that as many Brownies\, Guides\, Rangers\, Young Leaders and their parents\, along with adult Members and Trefoil will be able to attend this fun\, social and fund-raising event (and please feel free to extend the invitation to family members and friends). Soft drinks\, tea and coffee will be on sale\, but you are welcome to bring your own refreshments (including alcoholic drinks) if you wish. \nIf you would like to sponsor a race (for £10) you can do so by indicating in the reply and we will be in contact to arrange payment. There are only 5 races to be sponsored\, so it will be “first come\, first served” and you can select the name of your race. \nPLEASE COMPLETE AND RETURN REPLY SLIP TO GIVE AN INDICATION OF NUMBERS BY 18th MAY \n \n Booking Form

SUMMARY:Safer Guiding - Face-to-Face
DESCRIPTION:Our safer guiding training makes sure volunteers offer girls a safe space where they can have fun\, learn and grow.\nIt is a requirement that all adult volunteers who undertake a girl facing role must have the Safer Guiding qualification. If you prefer to complete a trainer-led session instead of the e-learning\, book onto our face-to-face training session. \nTimings 9.45am to 2.30pm. \nThis is a uniform event. \nBring a packed lunch and drink. \nTo Book: \nDownload and complete the booking form and email Jennifer Dudley \n \n Download Booking Form\n \n \n Contact Jennifer Dudley\n \nDirections:Galbraith Hall\, Allenby Road\, Southall\, UB1 2HX. Galbraith Hall can be found on the same site as Allenby Primary School. You should park within the gates and as you approach the inner school gates Galbraith Hall is the building on the left. It is important to use the postcode and not Google Galbraith Hall as the one that comes up is in Uxbridge and we are in Southall. \nSafe Guiding can be completed via e-learning on the learning platform. This e-learning takes about 3 hours and is divided into smaller modules. It’s designed for you to dip in and out of and it’ll save your progress along the way. We wouldn’t recommend completing this all in one go but make sure you allow plenty of time to complete it before your deadline.

\nTimings 9am to 1pm. \nThis is a uniform event. \nA minimum of 4 people are required to run this event. \n \n Book Your Space Via The Learning Platform\n \nDirections:Galbraith Hall\, Allenby Road\, Southall\, UB1 2HX.

\nTimings 9am to 1pm. \nThis is a uniform event. \nA minimum of 4 people are required to run this event. \n\nBook Your Space Via The Learning Platform\n \nDirections:\nGalbraith Hall\, Allenby Road\, Southall\, UB1 2HX.
