Join us for an action-packed event exclusively for Rangers and Young Leaders in June 2024, at Phasels Wood Activity Centre.
We have been awarded a grant from Girlguiding to use towards this event to ensure we can keep the costs to a minimum and this event can be attended by all that want to. For further Information regarding cost please see further down this letter.
We are offering two options to make the event suitable for all.
- Join us for the day on Saturday 29th June and take part in at least four onsite activities at Phasels Wood.
- Enjoy the full weekend away, camping from the 28th – 30th June 2024 with additional activities on the Friday night and Sunday morning including another onsite activity, crafts, wide games, and a campfire.
You can find the types of activities we will be doing on the Phasels Wood website. We will try to do a mixture of different types of activities depending on our numbers and availability at the campsite.
Cost:
Activity Day Only
- £10 per Ranger/Young Leader – This covers all activities and lunch.
A non-refundable payment of £10 is required by 14/04/2024 to reserve your space.
Full Weekend
£40 per Ranger/Young Leader – This covers accommodation, food, and all activities
- Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of £25 is required by 14/04/2024 to reserve your space.
- Remaining Balance: The remaining balance of £15 must be paid by 26/05/2024.
Girlguiding is for all, and we do not want anyone to miss out due to financial reasons. If your daughter would like to attend but you have concerns over finances, please contact us in confidence to discuss financial support/payment plans.

Transport
Transport to and from the campsite is not included, parents are to arrange drop off and pick up.

To sign up, please complete the corresponding sign up form linked below and make the required payment by 5/11/2022. Places on the weekend/activity day will not be secured until the form is complete, and we have received the required payment.

Pricing Terms & Conditions
The full weekend bookings require a minimum of 15 participants to go ahead. If the minimum number is not met your deposit will be refunded to you. If you cancel your place after 14/04/2024 the following amount will be charged, payable within 14 days of the cancellation date:
• More than 30 days prior to the 1st day of the trip – deposit non-refundable.
• Fewer than 30 days prior to the 1st day of the trip, full balance to be paid.
The activity day bookings require a minimum of 10 participants to go ahead. If the minimum number is not met your deposit will be refunded to you. If you cancel your place after 14/04/2024 no refund will be offered.
