SUMMARY:Outdoor Training Weekend 2024
DESCRIPTION:Outdoor Training Weekend returns for 2024				\n				\n				\n				\n									We’re excited to share that our Outdoor Training Weekend weekend will be back for 2024. Join us for another weekend of gaining new skills\, brushing up on existing skills\, sharing ideas\, meeting other volunteers and most importantly\, having fun! This training weekend is open to all adult volunteers in Middlesex North West to join for all or part of the weekend for FREE. 								\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n									On the weekendThe Saturday training sessions will run from 10am-5:30pm with session on orientating\, fun first aid activities – adapting the skills builders and finding adventures on your doorstep. There will also be a Macrame craft activity. On the Saturday evening there will be a camp fire\, volunteers are welcome to join just for the evening if you can’t make the day.  The Sunday will run from 10:00am – 3:00pm we will be joined by Helen\, Region Walking Trainer who will be running workshops on taking young members walking. During the workshops you will cove safety\, planning and leading walks. The training will also include a walk in the local area with a maximum distance of 2 miles. 								\n				\n					\n		\n				\n			\n						\n				\n																\n															\n															\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n									Throughout the weekend there will be plenty of breaks giving you the opportunity to get know volunteers from across the county. All meals are provided and overnight accommodation is included for those who wish to spend the night at Willow Tree. In addition leaders will be on hand to help advise on outdoor risk assessments\, residential plans and the going away with scheme.  								\n				\n				\n				\n							\n			\n		\n						\n				\n				\n				\n									\n					\n						\n									Register\n					\n					\n				\n								\n				\n				\n				\n							\n			\n		\n						\n				\n				\n				\n									Terms & ConditionsThe cost of the training is covered by the county\, and is free to all active unit volunteers of Girlguiding Middlesex North West.
