SUMMARY:An afternoon at the races - Fundraiser at Galbraith Hall
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a family friendly race afternoon \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Following two very successful Afternoons at the Races\, we are pleased to invite you to another Family-friendly Race Afternoon on Saturday 14th June at Galbraith Hall\, Allenby Road. If you have attended Race Nights in the past – this is an event with a difference with an opportunity for all ages to take part. Please arrive from 2.00 pm\, with the first race at 2.30 pm. The horses are moved along a track on the floor\, determined by the roll of a dice which everyone can join in. There will be five races and you can become an “owner” of a horse in four of the races for just £1 (with a chance to win a prize if your horse finishes first). Just 20p allows you the chance to back a horse in a race\, with a chance to win a small cash prize. There is a nominal entrance fee of £1.00 per person (payable on the door)\, but please also bring some money to spend on the races and on the raffle. We regret that we will not be able to supervise unaccompanied children. However we hope that as many Brownies\, Guides\, Rangers\, Young Leaders and their parents\, along with adult Members and Trefoil will be able to attend this fun\, social and fund-raising event (and please feel free to extend the invitation to family members and friends). Soft drinks\, tea and coffee will be on sale\, but you are welcome to bring your own refreshments (including alcoholic drinks) if you wish. If you would like to sponsor a race (for £10) you can do so by indicating in the reply and we will be in contact to arrange payment. There are only 5 races to be sponsored\, so it will be “first come\, first served” and you can select the name of your race. PLEASE COMPLETE AND RETURN REPLY SLIP TO GIVE AN INDICATION OF NUMBERS BY 18th MAY \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Booking Form
