Working Together for Our County

Jennifer Maidment

County Commissioner

I am proud to serve as the County Commissioner for Middlesex West, supporting Guiding across the London Boroughs of Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow, and Ealing. In this role, I work alongside our amazing volunteers to ensure that Girlguiding in our area continues to thrive, while also representing our County at both Region and National levels.
Having grown up through Girlguiding myself, I know first-hand the positive impact it can have. For more than 12 years, I’ve been a Guide Leader in Northwood District, helping young members grow in confidence, develop skills, and make lasting friendships.
I’m passionate about supporting our leaders, celebrating the achievements of our members, and making sure Guiding remains a fun, inclusive, and empowering experience for every girl and young woman in our County.
Marian Brown

Assistant County Commissioner

I am the Assistant County Commissioner (Volunteers). I have been a Brownie, Guide, Young Leader and Ranger in Eastcote District and been fortunate to be on two Region internationals to Thailand and Vietnam. I currently sit on the Region Awards and Recognition Committee.
For 12 Years I was a Guide Leader in Eastcote District before becoming a Division Commissioner. I became a Ranger Leader in Ruislip-Windmill District for 2 years and I am now a Supporting Leader across the County.
Hannah Evison Vale

Assistant County Commissioner

I am the Assistant County Commissioner (Young Members). I have been a Rainbow, Brownie, Guide, Ranger, and Young Leader in the Northwest of England. I have taken part in a variety of Girlguiding activities, experiences and learnt new skills which I enjoy sharing with both our young members and adult volunteers.
For over 10 years I was a Brownie, Guide and Ranger leader in Southwest London and in the last two years I have been leading a Brownie Unit in Hanwell. I have supported leaders and young members as a District Commissioner and a leadership qualification mentor. Two of my favourite things about Girlguiding are the opportunities for new experiences for young members & adult volunteers and pack holiday.
